Candy Pangilinan is a well-known celebrity in the country, appearing on TV, in movies, and even the stage. She also works as a host and engages in stand-up comedy.
That's not all she is and does, however, as she's also a loving mother to one of the students of the school, her very own Quentin. She and her son often release vlogs about their life on both Facebook and YouTube.
Hi Candy, and thank you for giving us some time in your busy schedule for our interview. We appreciate it very much. May we ask, since when did Quentin start studying in Cradle of Learners?
I think Quentin started since Grade 2.
Could you tell us the story of how you came to know of the school and how you first enrolled him there?
I scouted for schools and stumbled upon this community school. There was no recommendation from whomever. I weighed my options and checked on the pros and cons and decided this was the best option for Quentin.
I see. What about Cradle of Learners made you decide that it was the best school for your child?
It was a close-knit school operated by a God-fearing school administrator. That was a very integral and important factor for me. It was also a school near near our home, and they offered school service. They were also very welcoming with the care givers. They reported and updated us of our child's development.
Speaking of development, in what ways has Quentin progressed while under the tutelage of the school?
In terms of social skills, I can say that Quentin has improved a lot. He has gained confidence and friends.
As a concerned mom going through the pandemic with her family, how do you feel now that Cradle of Learners is open for reaching and teaching their students online?
I am more aware now of what my child needs and how Cradle and I can help each other further help with my child’s development and improvement. I can see that Cradle of Learners has really extended more than a hand and an arm to help and adjust to the needs of the child.
Could you give a few reasons why you would recommend Cradle of Learners for other moms of kids with special needs?
It’s not only a school but it’s a family that grows and learns together.
That's nice to hear. We hope that we'll be able to continue growing and learning together with you and the other families that continue to trust in us for quality, caring education. That's it for our very short interview.
